INTEGRATION OF RESEARCH RESULTS IN THE PRODUCTION OF THE SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR FOR ELECTRIC BUSES

The historical manufacturer of electric traction machines for trams and trolleybuses, the innovative commercial company UMEB, has initiated a joint project with National Institute Research Development Electrical Engineering ICPE-CA, to design produce new line that achieve desired power, starting torque, speed range operating temperatures. Following requests received by UMEB from integrators vehicles transport people, need arose an motor characterized high torque density wide speeds. development team selected technical solution permanent magnet liquid-cooled synchronous motor, carried out theme, sizing, numerical simulation validation project, component design, their execution, assembly prototype its testing. resulting TN-EB 21 engine is presented during this process.
